Join us for the first volunteer shift of the League year at Athens Area Diaper Bank!
The Athens Area Diaper Bank has been a long time partner of the Junior League of Athens. Diapers cost over $1,000 every year, a cost that nearly 1 in 2 families struggle with in our country. In 2023, AADB distributed almost 650,000 diapers to those in need!

What we’ll be doing:
- Volunteers will be counting, sorting, and wrapping diapers for the 8,000 babies in our service area who don’t have enough diapers to get through the month. Volunteers may also pack bundles/packs of diapers for distribution to our partner agencies.

Our facility may be a little hard to find. Here are some additional directions with landmarks:
On Atlanta Hwy, go past the mall headed toward Sam’s; you will pass RaceTrac on your right. Go through the light near Bojangles and Bank OZK. Next, on your right, there are 2 Adcock Furniture stores on Atlanta Hwy. Turn in between those two stores – that is Conway Drive. Turn into the driveway of the brick building on your right. (If you put Orkin – Athens in your GPS it will bring you to our driveway and our door is all the way down at the end).

Please note that children are welcome; however, this is a warehouse environment so we will need to discuss adequate supervision of all persons under 18 years old.
